You know you should exercise but you don't. You have paid for an expensive gym membership but you never go. Instead you sit at home and saying one day you are going to get in shape and have those beautiful six pack abs you always wanted. Well next time you are watching TV thinking about working out why don't you just do it? Every time a commercial comes on do 10 push ups, 10 crunches, and 10 body weight squats. You hate the commercials so do something productive and healthy for you body. If you think this won't work look at the physique of the great NFL Running Back Herschel Walker. Before he even got into the NFL he did 1000 of push ups a day and he went on to have a very productive career.So there is no excuses for not exercising you can do it while you watch tv.

If you follow all of these steps you should see a sever reduction in your hangovers.

Coca-Cola is Like Cocaine!

If you are person who relies on Coca-Cola to get through the day you are putting your health in serious jeopardy. To me Coca-Cola is nothing more than a drug being sold to you by the Coca-Cola corporation, in fact back in the olden days Coca-Cola used to have Cocaine in it as one of the ingredients. Coca-Cola has no nutritional value and is full of sugar and caffeine which causes a significant boost in your energy but quickly fades leaving you to look for you next fix. Coca-Cola itself is very acidic and causes great damage to your teeth. If you don't believe me just place a tooth in a soloution of Coke for a week and see what happens. Do you really want such a substance to take over you life. I have seen girls go crazy for the Coca-Cola up to three bottles a day. Think about how much money they are wasting on this drink. If you are currently hooked on Coca-Cola you need to get of it ASAP and it is a substance of no good.

The Asian Diet

Many people in today’s society are overweight and often turn to drastic measures to loose weight. Some people starve themselves while others resort to the Atkins diet or try unsafe weight loss pills. There is no need for this; there is already a diet out there that is both safe and sustainable for permanent weight loss and management. I call this diet the Asian diet because it is based on the traditional food choices that typical Asian people eat. Below this article I have included a link to the Asian diet pyramid which shows that the typical Asian diet is high in grains such as rice and noodles followed by lots of fruits, vegetables, and legumes. Eating a large portion of grains will give you a lot of slow burning energy to get through your daily activities. You should notice that meats are not included daily in the Asian diet but instead monthly or sparingly instead seafood is consumed which is often healthier thanks to omega 3 fatty acids. Another important thing is daily physical activity this is an absolute must if you are not exercising you are doing a great disservice to you body. Instead of sitting around on the couch watching tv you should take a walk even if you don’t want to go outside you can do bodyweight exercises in your own house so there is no excuse for not exercising a little bit everyday. The traditional Asian diet is superior to any fad diet you may try because it offers all the nutrients you need and allows you to eat a great variety of food. How to Fight Insomnia

If you are like many Americans you probably have sleep problems that cause you to stay up at night and feel tired during the day. This problem can be solved with a few simple life changes and few simple supplements. First, you need to get more sunlight during the day especially if you are an office worker. Sunlight helps regulate your body’s natural clock and raises the temperature of your body causing you to become more alert. Next, you need to stop relying on coffee to wake you up and alcohol to put you to sleep these two beverages mess up your sleep cycle and are only band aids for your sleeping problems. Instead, when you wake up make sure to do some form of physical activity like walking, tai chi, or push ups followed by a healthy breakfast consisting of oatmeal and orange juice. Before you go to sleep at night you should take the herb Valerian Root and a supplement called Melatonin to get to sleep faster. To relive daily stress you have accumulated take a cold shower and meditate before you go to bed. Another common problem is people use their bedrooms for many purposes this can cause you to stay up longer. Make sure you bedroom is only associated with sleep or sex don’t use it for other activities such as watching tv, paying your bills, or doing work. Before you even try to sleep you should start preparing yourself for sleep. At the end of day two hours before you go to sleep you should avoid all electronics that produce a lot of light like computer screens to prevent your brain from becoming stimulated. Make sure you have a good mattress that is firm not lumpy or you can try sleeping on the floor.

How to fight Cold Sores

As we all know cold sores are not only painful but embarrassing. They always seem to come at the worst time, like when you are about to go on a date or when you have to give a big presentation. First you should examine your diet to see if it is high in foods that contain the amino acid arginine. Foods like chocolate or peanuts are usually the major culprits. This amino acid has been shown to aid in the growth of the herpes virus the virus that causes cold sores. Next you should start taking at least 1000 mg of lysine the amino acid that has been shown to stunt the growth of the herpes virus. You should also protect your lips from the sun by always wearing lip balm. If you do get an outbreak you should spray it with hydrogen peroxide or rub it with cocoanut oil. Doing one or both of these things will kill the virus on contact and will speed up the healing process. Other supplements that are important and ultimate elimination of the herpes virus are Olive leaf extract, Red marine algae, Prunella Vulgaris (a Chinese herb), and DSMO.
